Welcome to the website of UK poet Pascale Petit.
Her seventh collection Mama Amazonica, published by Bloodaxe in September 2017, is a Poetry Book Society Choice and was awarded an Arts Council England grant for the arts while in progress. Her sixth book, Fauverie (Seren, 2014), was her fourth to be shortlisted for the T. S. Eliot Prize and five poems from the book won the 2013 Manchester Poetry Prize. Her fifth collection, What the Water Gave Me: Poems after Frida Kahlo (Seren, 2010), was shortlisted for both the T. S. Eliot Prize and Wales Book of the Year, and was a Book of the Year in the Observer. Pascale has had three collections chosen as Books of the Year in the Times Literary Supplement, Independent and Observer. In 2015 she received a Cholmondeley Award.
